Brela: German couple attackted on the beach
A German couple, who was walking on the promenade in Brela, got into a verbal discussion with a 46 year old BMW driver, after he almost hit them with his car.
The German lady Renate Schmidt (52) told the man on German that he should watch out, after exchange a few verbal glosses with the man, they continue there walk towards the beach.
As the arrived at the beach they BMW driver and his 19 year old son, and three additional persons started beating on them. The German couple suffered hands, feed and head injuries.
The 46 year old BMW driver and his son was arrested and brought to the detention in Makarska, a legal examination of the incident was opened.
Lothar Schmidt, has been visiting the Brela area for 30 year, after this incident the couple announced that this was there last visit to the Makarska Riviera.
