Croatia’s best family Hotel 2009
Yesterday we where invited to attend in the awarding of the best mini and Family run hotel in Croatia in 2009, the event which runs under the name Adrian (Izbor za najbolji mali i obiteljski hotel 2009), was arranged by Slobodna Dalmacija and the Ministry of Tourism.
The event was split in two parts, around noon we attended a two hour session about the results of from tourist season 2009, with speeches from the tourist minister, Damir Bajs, the director of the Croatia tourist board and other highly ranked people from the tourist industry.
The second part of the event was the actual awarding, which was held in the basements of the Diocletian Palace, here in this beautiful ambient about 250 people, was gathered.
The following 10 hotels was nominated as the best mini or family hotel in 2009.

The Tourism minister announced the winner, which was Hotel Marco polo, from Gradac, after handing out the awards, the excellent buffet was opened, and live opera was offered as entertainment.
