High number of Craftsmen close in Split

Submitted by Croatiablognews on September 30, 2009 – 2:25 pmNo Comment

The President of the Chamber of Craftsmen in Split, today informed that almost 800 small companies closed in 2008, in the first half of 2009, more then 200 small business closed, and till the end of the year the expect a further increase in the numbers.

CraftsmenCurrently the major problem for the small companies is that they are not getting paid on time from their customer, or some of their customer even default on payment, getting a credit in the bank is virtually impossible under these circumstances.

INFO: If a company is not able to pay, their supplier or other creditors, can blog their account, but in most cases when this happens there is no money on the account, so the only option for the small craftsmen, is to wait until their customers goes through the bankruptcy court, and then hope that their is som money left for them.
