Qualification for the European Football championship 2012

When this years Soccer world cup starts in South Africa in a few months, it will be without the Croatian national team, as they did not manage to qualify for the tournament.

In a football loving country like Croatia, both players as well as the fans, are there for eager to see the team qualify for the European Football championship 2012 which will be played in Poland and Ukraine.

The drawing of the groups in Warsaw put Croatia in Group F together with Malta, Georgia, Lithuania, Israel and Greece.

With this group the Croatian team are obligated to qualify for UEFA Euro 2012, the winner of the groups are qualified directly, of the 9 team finishing second, 7 will qualify to the championship.

Qualification groups for the EC 2012.

Group A: Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Belgium Austria, Turkey and Germany

Group B: Andorra, Armenia, Macedonia, Ireland, Slovakia, Russia

Group C: Faroe Island, Estonia, Slovenia, North Ireland, Serbia, Italy

Group D: Luxemburg, Albania, Belarus, Bosnia, Rumania, France

Group E: San Marino, Moldova, Hungary, Finland, Sweden, Netherlands

Group F: Malta, Georgia, Lithuania, Israel and Greece, Croatia

Group G: Montenegro, Wales, Bulgaria, Switzerland, England

Group H: Island, Cyprus, Norway, Denmark, Portugal

Group I: Lichtenstein, Lithuania, Scotland, Czech Republic, Spain
