Westgate Shopping City Zagreb | Photos
The last couple of year’s shopping malls have become quite popular here in Croatia, especially in Zagreb they have popped like mushrooms, in the city part Jankomir, you have the shopping malls King cross and City centre one, closer to city centre you have Avenue Mall.
But like in all countries it seams there is no limit to the size of these places, best example of this is the Westgate shopping city, which opened last year, I think in September, the shopping mall is places about 15-20 km outside of Zagreb in direction Krapina, when I went back for Christmas holiday I had opportunity to see the Shopping mall my selves.
Well I for sure can confirm the place is Huge, actually I think it is far too big, if you take a walk just at the ground floor, it would take you at least an hour to circle around, but I guess some people like that.
For parents there is option to leave their kids in a huge playing area at the first floor (You pay for the time they spend there), if they kids rather want to go ice skating the can do so at the ground floor!
Anyway I hope the pictures gives you a bit of an impression of the size of the centre, as you can see Christmas decoration was still there, when I took the photos.
